Entangled with You

Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased Entangled with You S3!! It means so much to me that you enjoy the show enough to support it! And we couldn’t have gotten here without our kickstarter campaign so for everyone who donated to that, I think I speak for all of us when I say you’re the ones we owe it to!

Every purchase and rental of Entangled with You will be going to producing the next HardlyWorkingTV project, which is currently in development. We did a survey recently that answered some questions like what genres are your favorites, whether you want fewer, longer episodes etc. Reading your responses was enlightening and I wished that I could respond to the comments and/or shared the answers with other respondents. If only we had a platform to discuss these things… :-)

Consider this your suggestion box. If you have comments not specific to a particular episode, please let me know! I do read every comment and thank everyone who takes the time to write, but I want that space to be for you guys so this is a much better place to let me know how you’re feeling, what you’re missing dot dot dot.

Comedy... Keep doing what you’ve done so well!:
I don’t know how you went about conceptualizing the characters and their relationships, but for a platform so limited by funds and time you did an efficient and amazing job with #EWY. As well, the casting was wonderful! I truly enjoyed and felt the "Perky vs Stoic” dynamic, as advertised, between Alisha and Jaliyah. That relationship hit the right notes with me. LL's RESPONSES through some key scenes were pitch perfect (and hilarious). KT working Alisha's transitions from goofy to serious made her both very real and lovable. I would also imagine it difficult to play Craig’s character and still be as likable. You obviously have a knack for comedy. There’s not a lot of actual “comedies” out there for Lesbian’s of Color, that I’ve noted anyway. Jaliyah’s "world class Ninja Block" of Yvonne was my favorite scene in the series. Bravo!

Longer Eps: At least 30-45mins

Shorter periods between YouTube eps if you decide to post them:
I understand the desire to get fans to pony up (I’m with you). But there’s a ton of options out there for entertainment. I'm seriously considering ditching my satellite soon. If you have an attention span as short as mine, viewers can lose track or interest with even the BEST of shows. This one almost fell off my radar between eps until I saw a preview for an unrelated movie that reminded me of Jalisha. That and a rainy/boring evening prompted me to make the purchase I’d previously decided not to make (no Paypal with VHX).

MORE! SEX!!:
While I realize that this is not porn, I've made a new donation with hope that it goes towards obtaining a decent kissing coach. My Barbie’s used to bring more heat than that! ;-P

Best regards,
Felicia

Hi Felicia!

Thanks for the comments (especially the ones about comedy)! Can I tell you how hard that is?! I really credit the actors for being so wonderful in their roles. I also really appreciate the suggestions! I also wish that we could have longer episodes and with my next series I’m working on getting them over 20 minutes even if it means only 3-4 episodes. The problem is finding ways to keep the quality up. As I’m pursing writing and directing as a career, it’s important to put my best foot forward always and that means taking time to do it right. And I know everyone hates straining to hear dialogue or watching something that doesn’t look great. It’s a balancing act but I do hear you.

The length between the episodes was indeed to tempt fans to “pony up” (LOL) but that was the only way I could give the season to all of the fans who could afford to support and the ones who couldn’t. If there’s another way, feel free to suggest one!

More sex? Duly noted! The next one will be steamy as a shower. ;-)

Thank you so much for your donation! It seriously is the only way we can continue producing content! You’re amazing!

It is possible to get a list of the soundtrack for season 3 man each song was amazing! especially the very first song that opens the last episode really trying to support these artists too!

Neka, I just created a thread for the music in this season. Check out the list. Thx for the suggestion!
